I really enjoyed the story, as this is the third in the series, and I'm still reading despite the poor grammar and vocabulary use. I must say that your publisher/editor/proofreader leaves little to be desired. There are grammatical errors and WORD errors (yes, the use of the word "picture" does not replace "pitcher" in my dictionary). It just appears as if an elementary student has written it with the boldest of errors. Considering that this is the third book in the series, I would have thought that your grammar and vocabulary would have improved; instead, it has disintegrated. Absolutely love Chelsea's books. I've read all 3 and am waiting for more! Each character was interesting and played great parts. Everything held together. If you like "believable" witch stories this author is definitely for you! Kind of makes you think 'that could happen'! kinda stuff. Starts with a high school girl just finding out about herself-family-etc along with her childhood friend/boyfriend. All I can say is start one and you most likely can't stop! Spring time is book 4....can't wait!
This book is just filled with twists and turns, everything fits in with something else, and there are answers. The writing is amazing. I think it's spot on. You instantly fall in love with the main character. The author throws in some not so cliche activities and also has some cliche instances like how the boy falls in love with the girl. This book keeps you on your toes. She surprises you when you never knew it was coming. Author needs more credit then what is given.
This book in the series really got my heart racing,I couldn't finish the pages fast enough. Who can you trust when even your own family want you dead and schemes against you. Can Alex really trust James? Will Peter forgive her?
Can't wait to read book 4 .....And what of Liam? Will she be able to break the mystery behind her father's illness? Mystery,betrayal , secrets....it's all there and twisted together,you'll love this series.
I loved the original book in the series and number 2 is even better--hope number 3 comes out soon. The book is well written and you quickly begin to care for the characters and wonder what is going to happen to them--and plenty does--the book is action filled with just enough romance to really enhance the story. This is a series, that in my estimation should be read in order--many of the trials and tribulations go back to book 1--so definitly read it first--then you will, I am sure,get number 2.
I have to say, I absolutely LOVED this book. I had read the first book in the series earlier, and found the long lead up to the action and bit dull, but this book was amazing! I would really recommend this book to anyone age 13 and up. It's not only great for teens, but a great read for adults, too. Conjured really incorporates historical fiction and fantasy in an amazing way that will draw everyone in. The drama is incredibly enticing and there are tons of twists throughout the book that made me want to keep reading. I couldn't put this book down, and stayed up past midnight to finish it. A great read for everyone!
This book is much better than the first book in the series. The writer has evolved and started to fill in the blanks that she created in the first book. I will definitely read the next book because my curiosity has the best of me. I just need to see what happens next.
Great read! Highly recommend this new series to all. I honestly think it blows away some of the more popular series out there (you know who you are) - there is enough suspense to keep you flipping to the next page, got it late late Saturday night, and read the whole book on Sunday.

I like the way Bellingeri writes her chapters, where you are left on a mini-cliff hanger at the end of some of them, well done. The characters grow more in this book and I still love the Alex and Peter match and am getting pretty comfortable with how James fits into the pictures, as long as Bellingeri doesn't pull the usual "love triangle" card in the next book. It's good to see young adult characters that are not whinny, or have something to prove or think they can save the word. I like the way Peter was still there at the end but he was trying to figure it all out - I mean come on you would too if....it happened to you....

I refuse to put spoilers in my reviews so they will always be short ones. I think each book should be left up to the reader to discover and to judge instead of making your decision based on a review, but I still want to write a good one that will help you make a decision.

I think every character really added to the story line, not one was a "fill in" (or as some of the other reviewers mention in their reviews "a Star Trek Red Shirt Character"), they each played their part well.
