I really like the premise. And I really like all the supporting characters. But I really don’t like Audrey. I have a hard time getting behind a main character who constantly makes bad choices. Her internal monologue became really grating over time. Honestly I don’t know why Logan liked her at all. Even at the very end of the story she was still running from him and running from God, showing she’d achieved zero growth from the first book in the series. I like the author’s writing style and the whole idea of the book series is great, but I had to force myself through this one. So I’m torn.

Dominion Life After Book 3 eBook Julie Hall Reviews

I love this particular book in the series. What a great jump. A reunion in more ways than one. Well written and vivid. Inspiring and endearing. Beautiful characters with beautiful stories of their own embedded within.
I spent the night, until 1am, completing the series. But is it really done??? So many questions. I actually cried in parts of this one. And I even stopped and thought about my own journey. So much about forgiveness. Have we really learned? Hmmm...great book. Cannot wait to see what you do next. Wow.
I laughed, I cried, I was pissed off, and ulitmatly I was happy. This book was full of so many twists and turns. You thought you knew what was going to happen but dang are you going to be wrong!
Now I just want more! More Audrey, more Logan, and more of Kaitlin and maybe her love?
If you haven't read this series I highly recommend it.
*This is a Christian YA so it does revolve around a higher power but the story is well thought out and worth the read.
Oh.my.goodness! I just finished the book a few minutes ago and I couldn't put it down the last few hours. I'm still reeling, but I need more! This series is very well written, has great character development, and just when I thought I had predicted what would happen next....nope! Another surprise! Yes, I wanted to shake the main character a few times, but every "why" had a purpose. I read a lot of good books, but this series really left me with a "Wow!"
Well....This sucks.
No not the book.
In fact the book was quite amazing. I didn’t think I could be thrown for such a loophole but yes I was. Audrey learned some tough lessons this time but I am happy to report that she did get her happy ending.
And oh my gosh Logan is still hot.
No what sucks is ending such an amazing series.
But what really got me was the faith in this book. Never have I ever had the privilege to read something so utterly breathtaking in its honesty, it’s adventure, romance, friendship, and above all-faith. This may be the bittersweet ending for us readers but for Audrey it is just the beginning.
For as much as I loved the earlier books in this series, I have to be honest that it took me a little while to get into Dominion. The depiction of hell was fascinating, but I missed the social interactions that make Audrey's experience among the hunters so fun, and Audrey's internal monologue just seemed a little off. But that middle section! Audrey's secret was so intense, and I loved seeing the gang back together again, even though things had changed. And Logan was just so swoon-worthy! He'd shown hints of it in Huntress and Warfare, but in this book I absolutely adored him. So tough and sweet and loyal and affectionate. *happy sigh* Plus, I found the spiritual truths in Dominion incredibly moving. Joe was such an amazing character - the perfect blend of compassion and wisdom with a little sternness and humor thrown in. I'm still not sure how I feel about the ending, but it made me think and definitely took the story in a different direction than I anticipated.

Let's just say, if you've read Huntress and Warfare, you really need to see how this series ends!!
“Have you ever read a book before? Some people would argue they’re the best way to get sucked into a good story.”

Julie Hall is an evil mastermind! Expertly plotted! Read this series right now! It is an unforgettable adventure and will forever stay with you.

Wow, this book was such an emotional rollercoaster that makes you immediately want to go back and reread the entire series all over again to pick up on all the subtle hints that you missed. I still can’t even think straight.

First off, I am still so hurt and torn over the betrayal of my favorite character (now old favorite lol). However, on the other hand, I am extremely happy for the redemption of another (who now went from second favorite character to first lol).

I felt so bad for Audrey and the decisions that she had to make in this one but I was so proud of how she handled them. Everything about it was just so perfectly orchestrated.

The “Adam and Eve” perspective was really interesting. I absolutely loved “The Reveal” and I was doing some serious tearing up.

That ending though.... BROKE me... which had me crying - again. I was just so shocked to my core, stunned, devastated.... I just never saw it coming. My heart literally hurt and it was painful to continue reading because I just didn’t see how a happily ever after would happen any time soon. I just felt so crushed. I had to go back and reread some parts in this book and the other ones because I remembered some “shrugs” from a certain someone that I wanted to add to this heartbreaking puzzle. So many pieces just flew together that I didn’t think much of before and I was just distraught... I’m sure there are so many more conversations that will produce more “light bulb” moments when this series is reread.

Then I had a ridiculous hope beyond hope that I begged to come true and I literally started bawling for probably the fourth time when it actually happened. Then my heart was crushed again - cue even more crying. Then finally I could breathe again and the sun came out, which made me cry the hardest of all. See, I told you rollercoaster of emotions. But I am going to pretend those last two paragraphs didn’t happen 😉
I really like the premise. And I really like all the supporting characters. But I really don’t like Audrey. I have a hard time getting behind a main character who constantly makes bad choices. Her internal monologue became really grating over time. Honestly I don’t know why Logan liked her at all.
