I loved that the book has so much helpful information, along with great ideas from the authors personal experiences. This book was written with love and humor which made for a great read.
Loved this book, very informative and to the point. A lot of details and ideas from the start to the finish and beyond the wedding day that you may not know or even think of, I enjoyed reading about the brides personal experience on her journey too. This book is an enjoyable read, informative and will help you plan for your wedding.
Weddings can be hectic and stressful times, and there are a million things to remember and plan, including various rules on etiquette, tipping, and even on how to write the addresses and invites to your guests. It's hard for anyone to keep up, so this book is a must-have. It is easy and fun to read, relatable, funny, grammatically on point (which is sometimes hard to find!), and lists all of the different things to keep in mind when planning a wedding, from how much to tip a DJ vs. a florist, legit tips on picking bridesmaids (she doesn't sugar coat it!), things to keep in mind when travelling to Europe for a honeymoon, money-saving tips, and more.
You can really tell this writer put a lot into her book--she shares stories (good, bad, and hilarious) and goes the extra mile for this book to be as helpful as possible. There's a ton of research in this book, and pretty much everything is covered. This is the PERFECT gift for a bride to be! I scoured the web looking for a well-recommended wedding planner book when my best friend got married, and I wish this one had existed. It will definitely be my go-to when any other friends pick a date. This book would also be great for someone named a Maid of Honor, or a bridesmaid (to know what to do, and what NOT to do). If you're like me, and you're clueless on how weddings work, this book explains what's expected of bridesmaids and also gives great insight into everything a bride needs to do, so you can be the best bridesmaid you can be!
I buy a lot of books--a lot of guides, self-help, educational, etc. types, and often times they are super dry, boring, or strangely religious. This book is to the point, blunt, funny, well-researched and extremely helpful. Highly recommend.
